Beyond the Basics - winter trick

'Tis the season for snow... and lots of it in some areas. Already this winter, 49 states have had snow. And, no, it's not Hawaii that's without snow. It's Florida.

In any case, this means lots of shoveling and snow blowing. A little trick to help snow from sticking and icing up on your shovel or snow blower is using cooking spray. For the snow blower, spray it on the discharge chute, auger and impeller before you begin to prevent clogging or ice build-up.
