Beyond the Basics - worldly decorating

I love old globes, and I love to use them for decorating. Here's an unexpected way to decorate with a globe–and it doesn't have to be in a den or an office (the usual places). You may have a globe packed away or even find one at a yard sale. Split in half and use it as a decorative bowl. Stabilize it on a small stand or candle holder and fill it with potpourri or some interesting trinkets to make a memorable decorative element for your room.
