Since the holidays are sneaking up on us, now is the time to think about getting organized. Disorganization will cause you stress, and, seriously, who really needs more stress?
Take some time to sit down and think about what needs to be done through the next couple of months–appointments to be scheduled, pies to be ordered, cleaning, shopping and cooking to be done, and so on. First, make a list of all of the things you have to do. Then get a calendar and actually schedule the time to complete each task. Lots of times if something is in a calendar, daytimer, or saved in our Blackberry, we take it more seriously. If something slips, reschedule it.
Stay on track as if each "appointment" is an important meeting that you have to keep. By staying on track, you keep a sense of control and you'll feel less stressed and pressed for time. Here's to stress-free holidays!
