 Who doesn't need a girls' night out?! Functional Home Designs is looking for all of you ladies who like to get the girls together and have some fun, to host a home decor swap party.
Times are a bit tougher for some of us these days, but we still take pride in our homes (i.e. we still love to shop). These home decor swap parties are a great way to clear our homes of those less-than-loved home decor items that we have lying around and swap them with your friends' gently-used items. It costs nothing and you can go home with some new(ish) pieces for your home. It's like shopping... for FREE! The picture shows a recent party at which there were some great takes. Nearly new window valances, a gorgeous decorative mirror and various accessories were some of the items brought to be scooped up. Anything left up for grabs is donated to a local shelter.
